Every summer, when N’Sele Malone’s uncle came back to Burundi, all the family gathered to watch his puppet shows. Malone was twelve and he was only interested in playing football and being with his friends. One day, while he was playing in the street, something happened which changed completely his future. Twenty years later, he is one of the most recognized puppeteers in West Africa. It’s only through the puppets, that he builds and plays, that he can heal and transform his memories.
